No previous school experience is required. Instead, we're looking for individuals who can communicate confidently, stay composed, and take the lead in a classroom setting. You'll be fully supported with training, guidance, and the opportunity to experience school life before you officially start. In this position, you'll step into the classroom when teachers are unavailable, ensuring students remain focused and productive. Your responsibilities will include: - Supervising lessons using pre-prepared materials - Keeping students engaged and on task - Managing classroom behaviour in line with school expectations - Following school procedures and routines - Providing feedback to teaching staff after lessons This is an ideal role if you're thinking about teaching but want to gain real-world experience first. You'll develop confidence, leadership skills, and a clear understanding of how schools operate - all while building a strong foundation for your future career. If you decide to pursue teaching, we can support you with introductions to local training routes, including salaried pathways to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
