The School of Histories, Languages and Cultures is seeking to appoint a permanent, part-time (0.5FTE/17.5hrs per week) Liverpool Confucius Institute Administrator and PA to the Institute's Deputy Directors. You will provide general administrative support to the Liverpool Confucius Institute (LCI) along with a range of support services to the Deputy Directors (Liverpool and Chinese) of the LCI. You will be the recognised point of contact within the LCI for administrative activities, offering advice and guidance on University policies and procedures to staff, students, and external organisations as required. You should hold 3 GCSE's at Grade C or above ( or equivalent), including English & Maths and you will have relevant work experience in a HE environment (or similar large, complex organisation); experience of providing administrative and PA support; experience of H&S administration, including completion of risk assessments; experience of working with and interpreting data, accurate record keeping, use of financial systems, as well as event planning and marketing.
