Our well-established client in Fraserburgh is looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their busy finance team on a full-time permanent basis. Flexibility in hours can be discussed for the right candidate.
The main duties of the role would be:
* Handling and recording transactions accurately for purchase and sales ledger
* Processing of all invoices
* Assigning and reviewing transactions for accuracy along with bank reconciliations
* Assisting with preparation and submission of VAT returns
* Producing of reports
Essential criteria:
* Proven experience in an accountancy practice
* Proficient in using accountancy software especially Xero.
* Strong character, with the ability to work well as part of a team.
* Self-starter who takes pride in their work.
* Excellent organisational skills and time management skills.
* Experience of working in a busy finance office.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
