Our client, a leading company in the T&D sector, is currently seeking a Health and Safety Manager to join their team on a contract basis. This role involves being on site five days a week, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations and promoting a safe working environment. Key Responsibilities: Implementing and maintaining health and safety policies and procedures Conducting regular safety inspections and audits on site Identifying potential hazards and implementing corrective measures Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements Providing training and guidance to staff on health and safety best practices Investigating accidents and incidents, and preparing detailed reports Collaborating with management to continuously improve safety standards Maintaining accurate records of health and safety activities Job Requirements: Experience in health and safety management within the T&D sector Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance Excellent organisational and communication skills Ability to conduct thorough risk assessments and implement effective measures Proficiency in preparing and maintaining health and safety documentation Experience in training staff on health and safety practices Ability to work independently and make informed decisions Relevant health and safety qualifications or certifications If you are an experienced Health and Safety Manager looking for a new contract opportunity to make a significant impact, we would love to hear from you.
