Position Overview As a dishwasher, you will maintain kitchen sanitation and safety by washing dishware and cookware in accordance with The Emily Program's processes. You will also maintain the dishwashing area in accordance with nutrition and culinary policies and procedures, as well as regulatory sanitation and safety standards. Washes dishes and maintains overall area cleanliness to meet safety, sanitation and regulatory requirements. Sweeps, mops, cleans and sanitizes floors and equipment daily. Maintains order and organization to the dish room, kitchen and dining areas. Assists other kitchen staff with proper food and supply dating, labeling and stocking, as requested Ensures attendance and punctuality for assigned shifts so that patient care can remain a top priority. Completes all assignments from Learning and Development and review of policies and procedures within assigned timeframes. Maintains appropriate, therapeutic boundaries with clients and their communities of support at all times ensuring adherence to HIPPA regulations for all culinary employees. Other duties, as assigned. Qualifications Dishwashing experience, preferred. Effective communication skills (written and verbal). ServSafe Handler Certification or ability to obtain upon hire, required.
