THE DEVOPS CONSULTANT ROLE: We are seeking an experienced DevOps Consultant to join our innovative and fast-paced delivery team. You'll work on mission-critical live applications for a key sector, leveraging cutting-edge technologies and Agile methodologies. This role offers the chance to lead, design, and deliver solutions that truly make an impact. Lead Agile Teams: Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance, ensuring high performance and project success. Develop Secure Solutions: Design and manage automated CI/CD pipelines, shared platform services, and containerised solutions using Kubernetes. Innovate and Automate: Write and deploy Infrastructure as Code (IaC), leveraging Terraform and similar tools. Cloud Expertise: Deploy and operate products across public and private cloud environments, including AWS and Azure. Customer-Centric Approach: Collaborate with stakeholders, manage relationships, and provide expert consultancy on complex problems. Knowledge: Deep understanding of cloud technologies, including AWS or Azure. Strong grasp of security principles, including PKI, identity providers, and MODCloud environments. Experience: Hands-on with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and other modern DevOps tools. Proven ability to deliver secure, scalable solutions in public and private cloud environments. Agile expertise, implementing and leading methodologies like Scrum and Kanban. Mentoring and supporting team members to foster a collaborative environment. Skills: Excellent leadership, task management, and communication abilities. Strategic thinking and the ability to align project goals with broader organizational objectives.
