As a newly qualified nurse at HC-One, you will be supported to grow in your career with our Gold Standard Nursing Preceptorship Programme, helping you to build on your existing skillset while practicing in a nurse-led environment.

About you – Qualifications and Skills
* Registered Nurse with a valid PIN and understanding of the professional standards set by the NMC.
* Passion to mentor and share knowledge with colleagues, and provide support as a practice supervisor and assessor to students. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, and to model professional behaviours.
* Advocates a person-centred approach to care for residents and their families.
* Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. Ability to recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect, and to know what to do if concerns arise. All colleagues must attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and undertake additional related training. Ability to seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.

Gold Standard Preceptorship
To support newly qualified nurses at the start of their career, HC-One offers a Gold Standard Nursing Preceptorship Programme. Designed in line with the NHS Gold Standard Framework, it follows a structured pattern of learning with an experienced HC-One Nurse who will help you gain the confidence and competence to help residents lead their best lives.

Please note: We are only accepting newly qualified candidates who already have the full right to work in the UK. We cannot offer sponsorship, and applications from those on time-limited visas will not be progressed.
