We are looking for a friendly and diligent Housekeeping Assistant to join our small Housekeeping team, cleaning and preparing our hotel and lodge rooms and communal areas so that our guests can enjoy a home away from home. If you can work quickly and effectively and feel a sense of pride knowing that you have cleaned and prepared a room to the standard you would expect if you stayed with us, then we'd love to hear from you. This is a very physically demanding and fast paced, but rewarding role.
No previous experience is required as full training will be given.
Responsibilities include:
* Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms and common areas.
* Perform basic janitorial tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, and mopping floors.
* Assist in restocking supplies and ensuring all areas are well-equipped.
* Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
* Provide excellent hospitality by responding to guest inquiries and requests.
* Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of cleanliness and service.
This is a permanent role for 20 hours per week, over 4 days. This includes every Sunday and then the remaining three days will be scheduled on weekdays. Shift times are between 10.00am and 4.00pm.
