Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced registered general nurse to join the District Nursing Service in the North Locality. The successful candidate will integrate with teams across the Locality and Angus and work flexibly to meet the needs of the service, rotating day/evening shifts and shifts on base to ensure 24-hour coverage across 7 days. The base location will be decided after interview.
Responsibilities
* Integrate with multidisciplinary teams across the Locality and Angus.
* Work flexibly across day, evening, and base shifts to provide continuous 24-hour service.
* Lead and manage workload and skill-mix of nursing staff.
* Assess and deliver high quality, effective and efficient care.
* Support the design and delivery of new models and pathways of care within the service.
* Work in close partnership with colleagues to achieve the objectives of the Angus Health & Social Care Partnership Strategic Plan and provide compassionate integrated care.
Qualifications
* Current community nursing experience.
* Advanced Clinical Skills qualification.
* Held or undertaking the Non-Medical Prescribing module.
* PG Cert in Integrated Community Nursing desirable (not essential).
* Excellent leadership skills, including managing workload and a mix of staff skills.
* Wide range of clinical knowledge and skills, evidence of continuous professional development.
* Commitment to study, good interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to travel across the geographical area of Angus Health & Social Care Partnership.
* Open, honest, approachable, responsible, and supportive of excellent team working.
Hours of work: 30 hours per week.
