As a Chemistry Teacher, your responsibilities will include: Planning and delivering high-quality Chemistry lessons in line with the national curriculum. Inspiring students through practical experiments, investigations, and innovative teaching strategies. Creating an inclusive learning environment where every pupil can thrive. Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and adapting lessons to meet individual needs. Preparing pupils for GCSE and A-Level exams with a focus on academic progress and confidence. Upholding high standards of classroom management, safeguarding, and child welfare. Requirements for Chemistry Teacher: UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential. Specialism in Chemistry with strong subject knowledge across science disciplines. Previous teaching experience in a school is highly desirable. Excellent communication, organisational, and behaviour management skills. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). A full CV covering the last 10 years of employment, with explanations for any gaps.
