We are currently recruiting for an experienced Service Engineer to join a growing engineering business working across industrial and recycling machinery throughout the UK.
This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically biased engineer with strong fault-finding skills who enjoys working in the field, attending breakdowns, carrying out installations and supporting customers on-site.
The Role
* Service, maintenance and repair of industrial machinery and equipment
* Fault finding on hydraulic, mechanical and basic electrical systems
* Installation and commissioning of machinery at customer sites
* Carrying out planned preventative maintenance
* Attending breakdowns and emergency call-outs when required
* Completing service reports and communicating with customers professionally
* UK travel with occasional overnight stays
The Candidate
We are looking for engineers from backgrounds such as:
* Recycling machinery
* Plant machinery
* Agricultural machinery
* Heavy industrial equipment
* Conveyors
* Manufacturing machinery
* Hydraulic systems
* Mechanical maintenance
You should have:
* Strong mechanical engineering experience
* Good hydraulic fault-finding abilities
* Basic electrical knowledge advantageous
* Experience working in a field service or maintenance xsngvjr role
* Ability to work independently and manage your workload
* Full UK driving licence
