What Youll Be Doing
As Estimating Manager, youll be responsible for far more than just pricing:
* Lead and develop the estimating team, setting standards, priorities, and best practices
* Own the estimating process from bid review through to final submission
* Work closely with Sales, Design, Production, and Project teams to ensure alignment from bid to delivery
* Oversee supplier and subcontractor pricing, negotiations, and benchmarking
* Identify and manage commercial and technical risk, including compliance with industry standard
Who Were Looking For
Youll likely be someone who:
* Hasstrong experience in estimatingwithin the building, construction, or fabricationsector
* Is confidentleading or mentoringothers and taking ownership of outcomes
* Understands UKbuilding/construction regulationsand tendering processes inside out
* Is highly analytical, commercially aware, and comfortable making decisions
* Can communicate clearly with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders
