Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Intern Support Specialist to assist with day-to-day IT operations in a fast-paced, global environment. This role will support equipment inventory management, employee onboarding/offboarding, device shipping, patching, and general end-user assistance. The ideal candidate is ambitious, quick to learn, technically inclined, and eager to grow in an IT career.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain and update equipment inventory records.
* Coordinate shipping and receiving of laptops and peripherals for remote/hybrid employees.
* Support onboarding and offboarding processes (equipment setup, Docusign tracking, access management).
* Perform basic hardware maintenance (open laptops, replace batteries, memory, SSDs, etc.).
* Apply Windows updates and security patches.
* Respond to and resolve assigned IT support tickets promptly.
* Communicate effectively with managers, team members, and end users.
* Maintain accurate documentation of equipment assignments and service history.
* Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and a willingness to assist wherever needed.
Preferred Skills & Attributes
* Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
* Familiarity with Windows OS and hardware basics.
* Experience with inventory management or asset tracking tools (preferred but not required).
* Basic understanding of patching and system updates.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
* Must be able to lift 50 pounds
* Maintain a clean working environment
* Eagerness to learn and grow within IT support or infrastructure.
Education:
* GCSE or higher
