Job Description
We're seeking a hands-on Product Development & Applications Technician to support the engineering team in the development, testing, and real-world application of new safety products. This role is ideal for someone with a strong automotive background and practical experience in vehicle electrical systems, fault finding, and installation.
You'll play a key role in shaping product suitability for installers and end-users, helping reduce installation time and cost while improving integration and functionality. The role combines office-based work with site visits across the UK and occasional liaison with international suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct product and system testing, evaluation, verification, and validation
* Provide vehicle-related technical expertise to support product development
* Lead or support updates to product documentation and technical materials
* Guide product design with practical insights from vehicle installation experience
