About this Role
This Primary School is seeking a confident and committed Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join its warm and inclusive team. This is a fixed-term, term-time-only role ideal for someone who is flexible, creative, and passionate about supporting children's learning and wellbeing.
HLTAs play a vital role in maintaining continuity of learning across the school. You'll deliver pre-planned lessons during teachers' PPA time or short-term absences, manage classroom behaviour, and help create a positive learning environment across the primary age range.
Key Responsibilities
We're looking for someone who can:
*HLTA qualification or equivalent
*Advance pupils' learning and nurture their wellbeing
*Deliver high-quality lessons and maintain classroom standards
*Support pupils both inside and outside the classroom
*Confidently work across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
*Contribute to the wider life of the school and uphold its values
*Assist with lunchtime duties and general school support
