Location: Chilled Food Manufacturing Facility
Salary: £54,000 per annum
Shift Pattern: Rotating Days & Nights 4 on / 4 off
Hours: 12-hour shifts

Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Multi-Skilled Engineer to join a state-of-the-art chilled food manufacturing facility. This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer looking to progress their career within a fast-growing business.

Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on production equipment.
* Diagnose faults and carry out timely, effective repairs to minimise downtime.
* Maintain and improve a wide range of food packaging and processing machinery, including:
o Conveyor systems
o Heat sealers
o Netting and flow-wrapping machines
o Coding and labelling systems
o Bucket fillers
o Strapping machines
* Work closely with Production teams to support operational performance.
* Provide technical guidance and support to Technical and Machine Operators.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machine reliability and efficiency.
* Ensure compliance with all health and safety and food safety standards.

Skills & Experience
* Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer within a high-volume, fast-paced manufacturing environment (ideally food manufacturing).
* Formal Electrical Engineering qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3, Engineering Apprenticeship, or Food & Drink Apprenticeship Standard).
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving capability across electrical and mechanical systems.
* Experience maintaining standard industry machinery, including conveyor systems, bucket fillers, and strapping machines.
* Demonstrated experience driving continuous improvement activities.
