Role: Administrative Assistant
Location: Penarth
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000
Shift: Monday – Friday (40 hours) 7.30am – 4pm
My client, a respected independent specialist in industrial door systems, is looking to recruit a skilled and motivated Administrative Assistant. This is a permanent, office-based role
Key Responsibilities in your new Administrative Assistant role:
Administrative Support: Managing diaries, organizing and creating files, and handling correspondence.
Coordination: Scheduling meetings, coordinating staff rotas, and arranging resources for projects or events.
Communication: Acting as a liaison between different departments, contractors, customers, staff and visitors.
Data Management: Entering data, updating records, and ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
Project Support: Assisting with the preparation of reports, issuing completion information and service reports, and other documentation.
General support: Assist Operations Manager where required and oversee operations when the Ops Manager is away from the office.
What you’ll need in your new Administrative Assistant role:
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
Adaptability and a willingness to learn new tasks.
