The Gate and Barrier Engineer job itself involves a dynamic range of responsibilities where you will:
* Conduct installation, servicing, and maintenance of automated gates, barriers, and turnstiles across various sites.
* Proactively address faults and breakdowns, ensuring rapid and safe resolutions.
* Perform tasks involving the fixing and rectification of issues related to gates, barriers, and turnstiles.
* Respond to reactive call-outs, showcasing your problem-solving skills in real-time.
You will have
To be successful as a Gate and Barrier Engineer, you will have:
* At least 1 year of experience working with automated gates and barriers.
* A full UK Driving Licence.
* Experience with the operation of gates, barriers, and turnstiles;
* Familiarity with FAAC, BFT, CAME, and Automation systems is preferred, but training isprovided.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Understanding of Health and Safety procedures.
* Strong attention to detail, along with exceptional organizational and time management skills.
* A DHF Automated gate and barrier training qualification, with a CSCS card being preferred.
