Garage Coffee Roasters is a speciality coffee business with stores across East Kent. We source and roast high grade, speciality coffee and serve through our shops and wholesale partners. We are looking for a reliable, adaptable, and experienced supervisor to join our team in a flexible, multi‑site role. The Senior Multi‑Site Supervisor is a key operational support role across our stores. You’ll step in to cover sickness, holidays, and other shift gaps as needed, ensuring seamless service and strong team leadership. When not covering specific absences, you’ll work alongside Shop Managers and Supervisors in‑store, providing hands‑on support so managers can focus on administrative, operational, and strategic responsibilities. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in different environments, enjoys variety, and is confident leading teams in fast‑paced settings.

Hours: 32 hours per week
Days of work: Weekday and weekend availability
Location: Garage Coffee Roasters, across multiple sites in East Kent. Currently: Canterbury, Sturry, Whitstable, Margate (must be able to drive and have use of own vehicle).
Salary: £13.50 per hour

Key Responsibilities
Shift Coverage & Leadership
* Provide reliable cover for sickness, holidays, and other unplanned absences
* Lead shifts confidently, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations
* Maintain high standards of coffee quality, customer service, and cleanliness
* Act as a role model for team members in attitude, performance, and professionalism
* Share Garage Coffee’s mission & vision with customers and staff
Operational Support
* Work alongside Managers and Supervisors during non‑cover periods
* Support floor leadership so managers can dedicate time to ordering, admin, recruitment, training, and other responsibilities
* Assist with stock management, ordering, and inventory checks
* Help implement company standards and operational procedures consistently across locations
Team Development
* Support onboarding and training of new team members
* Provide support with coaching and feedback to baristas and shift leads
* Foster a positive, collaborative, and motivating team culture
* From time to time you may be asked to pitch in with other duties that are not directly related to your job description
Customer Experience
* Deliver exceptional hospitality and build strong relationships with regular customers
* Handle customer queries and concerns professionally and efficiently
What you need – the must haves
* Previous supervisory experience in a specialty coffee or hospitality environment
* Strong barista skills and a passion for quality coffee (particularly speciality)
* Confident leading teams and making decisions independently
* Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable working across multiple locations
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Reliable, proactive, and solution‑focused
* Available to work 30–40 hours per week, including weekends when required
