_____________________________________ JOB PURPOSE This role focuses on supporting student well-being and behaviour management to ensure all students can fully access learning and enrichment opportunities. You will help monitor and evaluate pastoral strategies while supporting staff in addressing the needs of children who face barriers to learning, enabling them to reach their full potential. ________________________________________ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Student Support & Behavioural Intervention * Build productive, trusting relationships with students and serve as a positive role model * Provide one-to-one and group mentoring sessions to support student well-being * Support students with their learning both inside and outside the classroom * Identify students who would benefit from additional support and develop action plans with colleagues * Deliver tailored learning interventions for students with social, emotional, or behavioural difficulties * Provide information and guidance to help students make informed choices about their learning, behaviour, and attendance Behavioural Management & Reintegration * Support students excluded from normal timetables, including planning their reintegration * Supervise students during "time away" periods and develop return-to-class strategies * Lead friendship and social interaction groups to improve student relationships * Support smooth transitions for students entering or leaving the sc...
