Our client based in Central Milton Keynes are looking for a Tender Specialist to assist the team on a temporary basis for a duration of approx. 2 months. The role is hybrid, working 3 days at home and 2 days based in their offices. The working hours are 9am to 4pm or 9.30am to 3pm, 5 days a week. Purpose of the Position: To coordinate the tender process to ensure that all tender responses are produced on time with maximum added value, and presented in a professional manner in order to maximise the potential business gain. Key Responsibilities: To liaise with colleagues from other departments (i.e. sales, commercial, clinical and sustainability teams) during the tender process to ensure all relevant documentation is complete and submitted on time. To ensure that tender and contracting process is performed in accordance with company's Contracts and Tender Excellence process (CATE) and that all documentation is maintained on the tender database and in ModelN system, and is available on request. A typical day of tender specialist role, which involves a mix of planning, detailed analysis and collaborative efforts: * Reviewing emails and updates on ongoing and upcoming tenders. * Reviewing short-listed tender opportunities published by the customers. * Tender Documents review and consolidation for internal briefing. * Document Preparation: Drafting and compiling tender documents, ensuring all requirements and specifications are met. * Team Meetings: Collaborating with various departments to gather necessary information and align on strategies. * Customer Communication: Engaging with customers via tender portals to clarify requirements and address any queries. * Submission: Finalising and submitting tender proposals before deadlines and submitting response on tender portals. * Follow up: Tracking the status of submitted tenders and following up with customers as needed. * Recording tneder pricing in ModeIN system and obtaining relevant approvals.
