Job Description:
Prospero Teaching are seeking to appoint a number of aspiring nursery assistants in welcoming and supportive nurseries and preschools across Portsmouth, Fareham and Chichester. We are looking for fantastic staff, dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children.
As a Nursery Assistant, you will:
* Assist in the planning and implementation of activities that promote the physical, emotional, and social development of children.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care.
* Support children with their daily routines, including meals, naps, and toileting.
* Maintain a clean and organised environment.
* Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues.
CONTRACT DETAILS
* Location – Portsmouth (PO2)
* Position – Nursery Assistant (Qualified or Unqualified)
* Contract or position start date – ASAP
* Full time/part time – Full time
* Minimum rate of pay – Minimum rate per hour
* Hours Vary (working hours between 08:00 – 17:00)
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
* Hold Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
* Provide two professional child related references
