An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic andself-motivated Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join the BerkshireSpecialist Perinatal Mental Health Team which provide mental health care to thebirthing population in the six localities of Berkshire. You will be a valuedmember of the Multidisciplinary team to interface across the service and ourclients.
Main duties of the job
Conduct specialist psychological,psychotherapeutic and psychometric assessments and develop a clear and detailedformulation of the service users presenting difficulties and/or the systemicissues present.
In collaboration with service users, developpersonalised treatment plans based on assessment findings and service userneeds, in collaboration with service users, to support their recovery andimprove quality of life.
Deliver evidence based therapeuticinterventions using a range of psychological techniques and modalities.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teamclinicians and multi-agency representatives to ensure the delivery ofintegrated and holistic client care.
Actively engage in the improvement anddevelopment of mental health services, implementing new treatment approaches,providing insights and expertise to enhance the overall quality of care.

Person Specification
Experience
* Experience of working effectively in a multi-disciplinary team and multi-agency environment.
Qualifications
* Registered and accredited with Health Care Professional Council (HCPC) as a Practitioner Psychologist.
* Post graduate doctoral qualification in clinical or counselling psychology.
Travel
* Candidate should be able to drive and own a car for work purposes.
