The Role of a Class 2 Driver in our Beckton CDC
* You will work as part of the delivery and collection service, demonstrating exceptional customer service in all aspects of the working day.
* Using the company's smartphone, you will maintain an accurate record of deliveries and collections and carry out daily and weekly vehicle checks.
* You will be expected to drive the company vehicle responsibly and safely, abiding by all traffic laws and the highway code.
* Represent the company and its values and be professional, help with loading and unloading, and perform any other tasks as required.
What do you need to succeed as a Class 2 Driver?
* A Category C (Class 2) licence
* A valid driver qualification card and digital tachograph card.
* Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve complex customer inquiries.
* Knowledge of safe loading practices as well as the transporting of hazardous goods.
* Ability to demonstrate compliance with manual handling regulations.
Working Pattern
Monday - Friday: 9am - 5pm, Alternating Saturdays: 9am - 1pm
