About the Role: As a Sports Coach, you will work closely with teaching staff to plan and deliver a variety of sports and physical education sessions. You'll encourage participation, develop pupils' skills, and create a fun, inclusive environment where every child feels motivated to take part and achieve their personal best. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging PE lessons and sports sessions across all year groups. Promote teamwork, confidence, and resilience through sport. Support the organisation of school sports events, clubs, and competitions. Work collaboratively with teachers to integrate physical activity into the wider curriculum. Ensure pupil safety and well-being during all activities, following safeguarding and health & safety procedures. Requirements: Sports Coaching qualification (e.g., Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Learning in PE and School Sport, or equivalent). Experience working with children, ideally in a school or educational setting. Strong communication, motivation, and organisational skills. Passion for physical education and promoting an active lifestyle. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
