Description
The role:Reporting to the Branch Manager, this is a varied role working across the branch; however, you will mainly be involved in sales on the Trade Counter. From time to time you may be required to help with Cycle Counting, Stocking and Rotating products on shelves, Customer Deliveries, Loading / Unloading and whatever else is necessary within the branch.
1. Ensure that our customers, who are made up of trades, businesses and homeowners, are greeted with a cheerful smile and exceptional service
2. Cycle counting and restocking products
3. Support the team in inventory management, inwards goods and doing deliveries
4. Ensuring products are organised and ready for delivery
5. Supporting the team with doing customer deliveries when required
This is a full-time role offering 40 hours a week. Working Monday to Friday with one rostered Saturday (8am-12pm) every 3-4 weeks. About you:To shine in this role, you’ll need to be an organised and reliable team player who enjoys working in a close-knit team. Have a customer-focused and outgoing attitude and good work ethic.
6. Proven experience in a customer service and/or retail sales environment
7. Plumbing background will be ideal but not essential as long as you are keen to learn
8. There will be manual handling, and some heavy lifting required so you’ll need to be physically fit
9. Have a Full clean NZ driver licence
10. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport to support our valued customers
11. A motivated, self-driven worker, with the skill to work proactively, independently and under pressure
12. Be confident with computers and learning new systems
