Overview
You are at the heart of the practice, welcoming patients, understanding how they are feeling, and ensuring they have a great experience. First impressions count, and you will be the first point of contact for every customer. You will work alongside the team, using efficiency, accuracy and strong communication to support patients with in-person and telephone interactions.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing an exceptional patient journey both in person and over the phone
* Managing the diaries and ensuring time is scheduled effectively
* Working with the team to understand NHS and Private treatment options available within the practice
* Completing relevant forms for NHS and private schemes within specified timescales
* Taking payments and chasing outstanding patient debt
* Liaising with dental laboratories, supply companies and other organisations
Key Skills And Experience
* Ability to easily build rapport and maintain a high level of customer service
* Passion to build knowledge of treatment options within the dental sector
* Desire to drive the success of the practice by seizing opportunities
* Ability to follow processes and work in a structured and organised way
* Comfortable working to practice KPIs (call answer rate, data capture and rebooking)
* IT skills with the ability to learn SOE software
* Positive, resilient and composed under pressure
* Strong attention to detail and excellent teamwork
