About the Role
We are seeking a Sports Facility Coordinator to support the day‑to‑day operation of our sports facilities and community provision at Eccles Sixth Form College. This operational role within the Sport and Uniformed Protective Services department supports the delivery of a high‑quality experience for learners and external users. The successful candidate will open and close facilities, coordinate bookings, prepare activity spaces, and ensure a safe, welcoming and professional environment at all times. They will act as a key point of contact for community users and partner organisations, delivering excellent customer service and ensuring all bookings run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
* Opening and closing facilities.
* Coordinating and confirming bookings.
* Preparing activity spaces for use.
* Maintaining a safe, welcoming, and professional environment.
* Acting as the main point of contact for community users and partner organisations.
* Delivering excellent customer service and ensuring bookings run smoothly and efficiently.
Qualifications & Experience
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
* Professional and approachable with a strong customer focus.
* Experience in a sport, leisure, or customer‑facing environment is beneficial.
