Job Overview
We are seeking a Receptionist to join our team in our establishment on a part time 32 hour basis, with the opportunity to progress to a full time fixed contract.
Shifts are a mixture of 7-am-3pm and 3pm -11pm.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the hotel or hospitality industry.
Responsibilities
* To be the first person that guests see and to help create a great and positive first impression, offering exemplary customer service at all times.
* Ensure smooth check in and checkout of guests following company procedures.
* Anticipate customer needs wherever possible and to react to these to enhance the customer experience.
* To be fully aware of the security of the hotel and guests property.
* To be fully aware of the facilities, services and promotions offered by the hotel and where possible be able to pass this on to guests.
* The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, good attention to detail and will have a positive, friendly and outgoing personality.
* Although shifts are varied, applicants must be able to work weekends and evenings as required.
* As we are a small hotel all of our team members are versatile in their roles and show willingness to support their colleagues, this means that you will be required to serve drinks and food at the bar or assist elsewhere in the hotel when required as part of the job.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality desired
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of Protel Air system desired not required
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to housekeeping operations
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.50-£13.00 per hour
