Job Title: Head Chef

As a Head Chef, you will manage the kitchen team to prepare and serve nutritious, appealing meals tailored to residents' cultural preferences and dietary needs. Your responsibilities include managing food stocks, optimizing budgets, and liaising with support teams to ensure nutrition standards are met, always prioritizing resident wellbeing.
Qualifications and Skills
* S/NVQ2 in Catering & Hospitality or Professional Cookery
* Minimum Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate
* Understanding of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP)
* Positive energy, good interpersonal skills, and organizational abilities
* Ability to follow recipes precisely and communicate considerately with residents and colleagues
Additional Requirements
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse or neglect and know how to respond appropriately. All staff must attend safeguarding training and undertake additional role-specific training.
