We’re looking for a Head of Corporate Underwriting to join our Risk team in Cardiff or Redhill. In this pivotal role, you’ll oversee corporate credit underwriting operations across the UK, ensuring sound practices, regulatory compliance, and portfolio quality. You’ll combine expertise with inclusive leadership to improve processes, manage risk effectively, and support business growth.
What you’ll be doing
As Head of Corporate Underwriting, you’ll:
* Guide credit underwriting operations for dealer and fleet portfolios, ensuring KPIs are achieved.
* Make informed credit decisions within delegated lending authority and present significant exposures to the Stellantis Global Loan Committee.
* Identify early warning signals and address below-standard credits to strengthen portfolio quality.
* Champion continuous improvement in underwriting processes and decision-making frameworks.
* Build strong, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
* Lead and mentor a team of credit analysts, fostering an inclusive and growth-oriented culture.
