SGS Heating & Electrical is a well-established heating, plumbing & electrical company based in Salisbury, Wiltshire. We specialise in natural gas, LPG, oil and electric heating installation, servicing and maintenance as well as general plumbing, bathroom installations and electrical testing and installations across Wiltshire, Hampshire and Dorset.
The role sits primarily within our Service Department and would be extremely varied, but the key tasks would include:
* Carry out reactive and annual maintenance repair of residential heating systems plus diagnostic fault finding on a range of gas appliances.
* Carry out all types of installation of vented and unvented hot water cylinders, radiators and central heating systems.
* Competitive basic salary (Annual or Hourly) dependent on skills and experience.

Key qualifications and requirements:
Minimum of 5+ years required.
Domestic Gas qualifications with a minimum of Level 3 (NVQ) in Domestic Natural Gas Installation and Maintenance or equivalent OR ACS Qualifications in Core Domestic Gas Safety – CCN1, Cookers – CKR1, Gas Fires – HTR1 and Meters – MET1
Unvented G3 qualification desirable but training can be provided.
OFTEC oil and LPG gas qualifications would be desirable but not essential.
Strong attention to detail is essential.
Good communication skills with the ability to work alongside others.
Used to working to a program of works and to deadlines.
Organised with the ability to prioritise own workload and work proactively.
Willingness to work within in a 24/7 call out service (additional payments to be made).
