Van Driver - Hull
Location: Based out of Hull
Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday
* Day shift: 8:00am - 5:00pm
* Evening shift: 2:00pm - 10:30pm (Flexibility for both shifts is beneficial)
Job Description
We are looking for a reliable Van Driver to join our team.
This role involves a significant amount of heavy lifting, so applicants must be physically capable and comfortable with manual handling tasks as it can be a physically demanding role.
Key Responsibilities
* Driving a van to deliver goods across Yorkshire
* Loading and unloading items using ramps
* Carrying out heavy lifting safely and efficiently
* Handling and delivering oil products, following all safety procedures
* Ensuring deliveries are completed on time and to a high standard
* Carrying out basic vehicle checks and keeping the van clean and roadworthy
* Maintaining accurate delivery records and paperwork
Requirements
* Full UK driving licence
* Physically fit and able to carry out heavy lifting
* Comfortable working with oil and related materials
* Reliable, punctual, and professional
* Good knowledge of Yorkshire road networks is desirable
* Ability to work day and evening shifts as required
