Essential criteria
* Qualified to a Masters degree level in environmental management, geography or other relevant degree, or has equivalent relevant experience with additional training and/or Qualification
Desirable criteria
* IEMA Certificate in Environmental Management or equivalent.
* Prince project management certificate or equivalent
Experience
Essential criteria
* Evidence of successful management of a green sustainability programme in a large complex organisation
* Experience of leading and working across multiple organisations to deliver a joint programme
* A proven track record of delivering outcomes through leading, influencing, motivating, managing and empowering multi-disciplinary teams and across professional boundaries
* Experience of effective planning, project management processes and progress reporting
* Experience of developing partnership working with third-party organisations to mutual benefit
* Experience delivering successful environmental behaviour change marketing exercises
* Experience of carbon footprint reporting
* Evidence of effective people management and development of staff
Desirable criteria
* Experience of working in the NHS or healthcare sector
