The Friars Head at Akebar is looking for a talented and passionate Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team.
Nestled in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside, The Friars Head is a busy and well-loved pub and restaurant known for quality, seasonal dishes and warm hospitality. We pride ourselves on using fresh ingredients and delivering consistently high standards in a welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
* Prepare, cook, and present dishes to a high standard
* Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in daily operations
* Maintain food hygiene and health & safety standards
* Assist with stock control and minimise waste
* Contribute ideas to menus and specials
Skills
* Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef ready to step up
* Passion for fresh, quality food
* Ability to work well under pressure in a busy service
* Strong team player with a positive attitude
* Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene
