Our client is looking for Meter Readers across the whole of the UK. This is a fantastic role for someone self-motivated to work independently.
Within this role, you will have the opportunity to acquire a company car.
The ideal candidate will ensure customers receive accurate and up-to-date bills by collecting data from gas, electric, and water meters using a hand-held electronic device and other equipment. There is considerable flexibility in this role, such as planning your route and managing your schedule and workload to meet weekly targets set by your field delivery manager.
There may be an occasional need to walk longer distances, especially in less built-up areas, providing great exercise!
Working Hours
This role offers full-time hours on a flexible schedule between 8 am and 8 pm, Monday to Sunday, totaling 40 hours per week.
Requirements
* Approachable, presentable, and polite; acts as an ambassador for the company.
* Physically fit, due to the nature of the role.
* Ability to plan and manage workload independently, working towards targets.
* Report any dangerous meter installations or signs of tampering.
* Self-motivated, energetic, and enjoy working outdoors.
* Hold a full UK driving licence.
* Ability to work within timescales and under pressure.
* Flexible approach to tasks and working hours.
* Friendly personality with a professional work ethic.
* Pass screening, vetting standards, and DBS check.
* Full training will be provided; experience is not necessary.
