STUDIO/gather is excited to announce an opening for a Project Lead to join our team. We seek a talented, detail-oriented individual with experience in both team leadership and project management, eager to make a meaningful impact. Our expertise includes one-off residential homes to PassivHaus standards, deep retrofits, and renovations/extensions. We prioritize innovative design, sustainability, and experiential architecture.
You will contribute to designing and delivering a diverse range of projects, with a focus on sustainability and experiential architecture. Familiarity with navigating a scheme from inception to completion is beneficial, as you will be introduced to new projects from the start. Our work is mainly based in Cornwall, with occasional trips across the Tamar to explore picturesque landscapes. Our practice is known for the unusual and extraordinary.

We are seeking a part-time or full-time candidate who can work from our office on the outskirts of Falmouth, with a minimum of 2 days a week in the studio. The ideal applicant will meet the following criteria:
1. Minimum 3 years ARB registration, or MCIAT/ACIAT Chartered Architectural Technologist/Technician working towards MCIAT
2. Proficiency in Archicad or similar BIM software
3. Comprehensive understanding of the RIBA plan of work, with experience managing projects through all stages
4. Up-to-date knowledge of Planning and Building Regulations
5. Ability to produce construction drawings and tender documentation
6. Team player with experience collaborating with external consultants and working independently
7. Confidence in being accountable for clients, team, and environmental impact
8. Passion for energy efficiency and sustainable design aligned with our ethos
