Immediate starts available for Care assistants in Matlock
The residents we work with are usually elderly and suffer from age-related illnesses such as Alzheimer's and dementia. The hired Care Assistant will support residents' mobility, hygiene, and nutritional requirements. You will ensure that their psychological and physical wellbeing is tended to.
Other important tasks include general housekeeping, following health and safety regulations, reporting condition updates and reporting incidents to senior staff.
Responsibilities
* Support residents’ mobility, hygiene, and nutritional requirements.
* Maintain psychological and physical wellbeing of residents.
* General housekeeping.
* Follow health and safety regulations.
* Report condition updates and incidents to senior staff.
Qualifications
* Have 3 months experience within a similar care environment.
* Have a checkable work history.
* Have up-to-date mandatory training documents: Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving and Handling, and Infection Control. Should you not have up-to-date certificates we can offer online training.
* Have an up-to-date enhanced DBS check. Should your DBS have expired we can offer the facility to arrange a new one for you.
Working Hours
You will be working from 14:00 to 22:00 on Saturdays and Sundays.
Pay
You will be paid £12.71 per hour (rising to £13.33 after completion of a trial period), and you will also receive £16.24 per hour for hours worked from 19:00 to 22:00.
