SERFILCO are currently recruiting for a Warehouse & Production Operative at our busy Manchester facility.
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Warehouse & Production Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge in warehouse activities & stock control.
As a Warehouse & Production Operative, you will play a crucial role in the process within our warehouse environment, ensuring that products are to the highest standards of quality and efficiency. This is a split role, with a 70%/30% split between warehousing duties & production duties.
Duties
* Conduct regular inspections of stock & stores area to ensure optimal performance.
* Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Assist in inventory management, including the movement of materials within the warehouse.
* Packing of goods ready for shipment all over the world.
* Quality control & basic checking of incoming goods.
Requirements
* Some mechanical knowledge with the ability to build small items as needed (full training will be given)
* Experience using hand tools and power tools.
* Previous warehouse experience is essential.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* A FLT license (counterbalance) is preferred, but not essential.
