A co-educational private day senior school in Solihull, West Midlands, catering for 1200 students and teachers daily. We offer breakfast, lunch, and a sixth form cafe with hospitality services. This is a term-time only role operating 43 weeks, Monday to Friday. Free parking on site is an additional benefit.
We are seeking a talented Commis Chef to join our team at one of our prestigious locations in Solihull. If you are a current commis chef or wish to train and develop into a chef through our chefs academy, please apply today.
You will work with fresh seasonal ingredients and regularly changing bespoke menus, providing an opportunity to showcase your skills and creativity.
Key responsibilities:
* Work well in a team, providing breakfast, lunch, and hospitality services.
* Prepare food for service using fresh ingredients, cooking from scratch, and following company brand standards.
* Ensure adherence to food standards and control wastage.
* Follow Food Hygiene, Health & Safety policies, and allergen procedures.
* Pot wash duties experience is advantageous.
* Provide excellent customer service.
* Be a great team player.
Skills required:
* Genuine interest in food and customer service.
* Team player with innovation and passion for food.
* Organised with attention to detail.
* Good verbal and written English skills.
* Experience in customer service or food preparation is preferred.
