Calibration Technician

* Location: Kidderminster (Onsite role)
* £30,000 - £43,000 + excellent bens.
* Reporting to: Maintenance and Calibration Manager

A leading UK-based advanced engineering manufacturer is seeking an experienced Calibration Engineer to support a highly regulated production environment.

Reporting to the Maintenance & Calibration Manager, you'll be responsible for the calibration, control and compliance of measurement, instrumentation and test equipment, ensuring accuracy, traceability and audit readiness across site operations.

Key responsibilities:

* Calibrate and maintain instrumentation, linear and test equipment
* Manage calibration assets and schedules using CMMS
* Create and maintain calibration procedures and documentation
* Support internal and external audits
* Coordinate external calibration activities and manage overdue assets
* Maintain a high-standard calibration lab (5S)
* Support quality investigations and provide technical gauging advice

About you:

1. Time-served engineer or equivalent qualification (HNC/HND/BTEC Level 3+)
2. Proven experience in calibration within a manufacturing environment
3. Strong mechanical/electrical understanding
4. Able to read engineering drawings
