Role: Children's Registered Home Manager - Preston
Salary: Up to £70,000 (Total reward package)
Welcome Bonus: £5,000 (On completion of probation & OFSTED registration acceptance)
Occupancy Bonus: paid monthly, up to £5,000 pa – based on occupancy/quality
Longevity Reward: a further £5,000 upon 3 years of service
Hours: Mon - Fri 9am to 5pm
Company: Exceptional Care are a therapeutic children’s service providing care and support to children and young people aged 8-17, from complex backgrounds, who display challenging behaviour and EBD. We are an independent social care organisation with multiple residential units across the North West of England. We are seeking a talented Children\'s Registered Home Manager to join us on our exciting journey, based at one of our Children\'s Homes in Preston.
About The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a caring and dedicated Registered Manager to manage a home in a unique setting during a period of real company growth. We will give you all the support you need to lead and develop your team to create a loving, stable environment to ensure each young person is achieving positive outcomes and learning experiences. We offer development opportunities to all managers to progress to Senior Manager level. Exceptional Care believes that consistency in care is paramount to children/young people with complex needs; to this end we are committed to developing and maintaining good communicative relationships with the child/young person.
Required Minimum Criteria
* Full UK Manual Driving Licence
* 2 years’ experience in a children’s residential setting dealing with children with complex needs at senior level (You could be an outstanding Deputy Manager looking for progression)
* Level 3 or 4 Children and Young Peoples Workforce or equivalent
Desirable Criteria
* Level 5 Children and Young Peoples Workforce or equivalent
* Previous Ofsted rating of GOOD or Outstanding
