Job Description:
I. At a Glance
● Part-Time - 4 days a week
● Fixed-term Maternity Cover (9–12 months)
II. About CLOSER
CLOSER is a Creative Agency and Brand Incubator. We collaborate with global luxury and lifestyle brands to achieve visionary creativity, culture, and craft across marketing campaigns, customer experiences, brand design, product design, and new media technologies.
We are primarily based in London, New York, and Thessaloniki.
III. About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced and people-driven professional to join Closer Group on a fixed-term basis as People and Culture Manager, covering a period of maternity leave. This role is ideal for someone who thrives working independently, takes ownership of projects, and is excited about laying the foundations for a future People team.
The People & Culture Manager will oversee administration and advisory across the entire employee lifecycle, including onboarding, probation monitoring, performance reviews, and maintaining records in our HRIS. You will collaborate closely with leadership and support line managers and employees on work policies.
Due to the nature of this role, we prefer someone based in London who can be in the studio about three times a week.
IV. About You
You should have 4-5 years of HR or People Operations experience, preferably in a small or growing team. You are a generalist with a people-first mindset, comfortable with policy creation and day-to-day employee lifecycle management. You are proactive, highly organized, and able to communicate effectively in a hybrid work environment. You should be confident representing our culture with warmth, clarity, and creativity. Dependability, kindness, and professionalism are essential qualities.
