Office Based Role in Euxton, Chorley
Shackerley is a leading UK manufacturer of high-quality façade systems, working on some of the most prestigious projects nationwide. We are looking to appoint an experienced Commercial Manager to take a leading role in managing and improving the commercial operations of the business.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Commercial Director this senior position carries wide-ranging responsibilities across financial and operational management. The role is focused on oversight, process improvement and control, rather than day-to-day transactional work.
Key responsibilities include:
* Overseeing and streamlining order processing, invoicing and payment procedures
* Ensuring the integrity of business records and commercial documentation
* Monitoring credit control and driving effective cash flow management
* Leading procurement and purchase ledger processes at a strategic level
* Managing supplier relationships and strengthening purchase order systems
* Driving improvements in IT, finance and office processes
* Coordinating office management to ensure compliance and efficiency
* Overseeingn quality processes
The Person
We are seeking a proven commercial professional with strong financial and operational expertise.
Applicants must reside in location within easy cumuting distance to the office.
Essential skills and qualifications include:
* Professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent business qualification)
* Significant experience in commercial management or senior finance-related roles
* Strong knowledge of procurement, purchase ledger and credit control processes
* Excellent organisational, analytical and leadership skills
* Ability to oversee systems, streamline processes and lead teams effectively
* Clear communicator, confident in working with senior stakeholders
