Contracts Manager – Residential New Build
Location: Truro – covering sites in North Devon & Cornwall
Salary: Up to £70,000 + Car Package + Additional Leave
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
About the Role
We are working with a privately owned residential new build contractor to recruit an experienced Contracts Manager.
In this role, you will oversee the construction, programmes, budgets, and site teams across multiple sites throughout North Devon and Cornwall. Projects include predominantly new build residential schemes, with some commercial developments.
The successful candidate will be methodical, professional, and highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects and foster excellent client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee multiple new build and small commercial projects across North Devon & Cornwall
2. Manage project budgets, construction programmes, and resource planning
3. Lead and support site teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
4. Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and partners with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
5. Ensure compliance with all health & safety, quality, and regulatory standards
6. Report regularly to senior management on project progress, costs, and performance
About You
7. Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within residential new build (commercial experience desirable)
8. Strong organisational and project management skills
9. Excellent client-facing and communication skills with a professional approach
10. Ability to oversee multiple sites simultaneously
11. Knowledge of current construction regulations and standards
12. Full UK driving licence
