Community Staff Nurse - Upper Lea Valley
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated nurses to join our friendly, supportive team in Upper Lea Valley. The role covers routine community nursing and Hospital at Home nursing between the hours of 8am and 10pm, 7 days per week.
The successful candidate will gain experience in wound care, medication administration including IV therapy, bladder and bowel management and palliative care. You will work alongside GPs, Therapists, Social Workers and Clinical Pharmacists.
Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust offers a comprehensive preceptorship programme for newly qualified and internationally recruited staff. The annual programme will cover topics such as patient safety, communication skills, safeguarding, quality improvement, leadership and management. Regular meetings with a preceptor and the AHP Preceptorship lead will support your transition to autonomous, confident and competent practice.
We welcome applications from full time and part time candidates. Candidates completing a nursing degree and holding a valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council are preferred.
