The Role
As a Teaching Assistant through Reed, you will:
- Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons
- Work with individuals or small groups of pupils to reinforce learning
- Help create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
- Support pupils with varying abilities, including those with additional needs
- Assist with classroom management and behaviour support
- Contribute to the wider school community and daily school life
What We’re Looking For
To be considered, you must:
- Have recent experience working within UK primary schools
- Demonstrate a good understanding of the primary curriculum
- Be patient, adaptable, and committed to supporting children’s development
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the update service
A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential where sufficient school-based experience is demonstrated.
