The Role

As a Teaching Assistant through Reed, you will:

• Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons
• Work with individuals or small groups of pupils to reinforce learning
• Help create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
• Support pupils with varying abilities, including those with additional needs
• Assist with classroom management and behaviour support
• Contribute to the wider school community and daily school life

What We’re Looking For

To be considered, you must:

• Have recent experience working within UK primary schools
• Demonstrate a good understanding of the primary curriculum
• Be patient, adaptable, and committed to supporting children’s development
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the update service

A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential where sufficient school-based experience is demonstrated.
