West Berkshire Council is seeking a HR Services and Resourcing Team
Leader to join our busy HR Services team, reporting to the Talent Attraction and Resourcing Manager, to help us deliver an exceptional HR experience to our employees.
The Role
As the HR Services and Resourcing Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of HR service delivery, with a specific focus on line management of the HR Services and Resourcing Team. You will be responsible for leading and supporting a team of HR
Coordinators to deliver first class HR advice and support to managers and employees, ensuring that HR processes and procedures are followed consistently.
Key Responsibilities Include
* Line management of HR Coordinators
* Ensuring timely and accurate HR service delivery, including processing of employee changes, leavers and new starters including support with recruitment and agency worker administration
* Providing guidance and support to managers on complex HR issues, such as recruitment, agency workers, and terms and conditions of employment
* Maintaining and improving HR data and reporting Collaborating with other teams, such as Payroll and Learning and Development, to ensure seamless HR service delivery
The ideal candidate will have a strong HR background, with experience in HR service delivery and team leadership. You should possess excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Key Skills And Attributes Include
* Proven experience in a HR Advisor level role or similar role
* Proven experience in advising on recruitment and agency worker best practice
* Proven administration and financial administration skills in a HR environment
* Ability to use a HR and Payroll system ideally ITrent
* Knowledge of HR best practices, employment legislation and regulations
* Experience in leading and managing a team
* Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
