Rising Talent is are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer with welding expertise to join our client's engineering team in Kilmarnock. This permanent position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects throughout their entire lifecycle, from initial design and development to testing and fault analysis. The successful candidate will be pivotal in specifying repair procedures for overhaul and maintenance, assisting with welding and collaborating with suppliers to source replacement components. You will be responsible for creating and reviewing documentation for welded structures, designing new or upgraded frameworks, updating drawings, and managing Bill of Material records. Acting as an Assistant Responsible Welding Coordinator (RWC), you will oversee welding standards, interpret engineering drawings, and ensure quality control standards are maintained.
