Are you a patient, nurturing and emotionally intelligent Teaching Assistant looking to make a genuine difference? We are working with a welcoming and supportive primary school seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a non-verbal pupil from the Easter term.
The Role:
* Providing consistent 1:1 support for a non-verbal pupil
* Supporting communication through visual aids, PECS, Makaton or alternative communication strategies (training provided if needed)
* Assisting with emotional regulation and sensory needs
* Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO and external professionals
* Creating a calm, structured and nurturing environment
The Ideal Candidate:
* Experience supporting children with SEN (ASD experience desirable)
* Calm, patient and resilient
* Confident supporting non-verbal communication
* Proactive and able to use initiative
* Passionate about inclusion and securing positive outcomes for every child

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
